Abstract (Turkish)
İki Farklı Sağlık Mesleğinin Lisans Öğrencilerinin Özgecilik Düzeyinin İncelenmesi
Amaç: Bu çalışma, sağlık alanına rehabilitasyon ve yönetimalanlarında farklı katkılar veren iki mesleğin (Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyonve Sağlık Yönetimi) lisans öğrencilerinin özgecilik düzeylerini karşılaştırmak velisans eğitiminin öğrencilerin özgecilik düzeyine etkilerini incelenmekamacıyla gerçekleştirildi. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya, Trakya Üniversitesi Fizyoterapi veRehabilitasyon (FTR) ve Sağlık Yönetimi(SY) Bölümlerinin tüm sınıflarında eğitim almakta olan 323 öğrenci katıldı. Öğrencilerinsosyo-demografik bilgileri kayıt edildi. Bireylerin özgecilik düzeyleri“Özgecilik Ölçeği” kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Sonuçlar: FTR ve SY öğrencilerinin özgecilik düzeyleri bölümlerarasında sınıflar eşleştirilerek karşılaştırıldığında, birinci sınıflarda “Gönüllüfaaliyetlere katılma, yaşlı/hastalara yapılan yardım, fiziksel güce dayalıyardım” başlıklarında SY bölümü öğrencilerinin daha yüksek özgecilikdüzeylerine sahip oldukları saptanmıştır (p<.05). Her iki bölümün birinci vedördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin özgecilik düzeyleri kendi aralarındakarşılaştırıldığında, FTR bölümünün dördüncü sınıflarının özgecilikdüzeylerinin yaşlı/hastalara yapılan yardım başlığında birinci sınıflara göre dahayüksek olduğu saptanmıştır (p<.05).Tartışma: Çalışmamızda öğrencilerin özgecilik düzeyinin meslekseçiminde etkili olmayabileceği; ancak özgeciliğinverilen lisans eğitimi ile değiştirilebileceği görülmüştür. Bu bağlamda, rehabilitasyonalanında hizmet veren meslek elemanlarının eğitim müfredatlarının, bireylerinözgecilik düzeylerini arttıracak şekilde planlanmasının önemli olduğudüşünülmüştür.
