Abstract
In this study, considering the importance of alliance in mental health, its role in other health areas were investigated. In this respect, it was primarily focused on the historical development and content of alliance. Then, three contents of it as duty, aim and bond were mentioned. The effects of alliance concept with empirical findings were discussed in the literature. Moreover, therapeutic relationship and alliance’s role and importance in health science were included. According to the information in literature, effects of alliance on general health science service were discussed. Suggestions for understanding, improving and measuring the alliances in both theoretical conceptualization and practical application were given

İttifak Kavramının Sağlık Hizmetlerindeki Yeri ve Önemi
Bu çalışmada, psikoterapi alanındaki önemli etkileri göz önüne alınarak terapötik ittifak kavramının ruh sağlığı alanı dışındaki diğer sağlık alanlarındaki kullanımına yer verilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda öncelikle ittifak kavramının tarihsel gelişimine ve içeriğine odaklanılmıştır. İttifak kavramının görev, amaç ve bağ olmak üzere üç alt boyutundan söz edilmiştir. Alan yazındaki görgül çalışma bulguları ile ittifak kavramının etkileri ele alınmıştır. Bununla birlikte genel terapötik ilişkinin ve ittifak alt boyutlarının sağlık hizmetlerindeki yeri ve önemine yer verilmiştir. İlgili alan yazın ışığında ittifak kavramının genel sağlık hizmetlerindeki yeri tartışılmıştır. Hem kuramsal kavramsallaştırmalar için hem de pratikteki uygulamalar için ittifak kavramının nasıl ele alınabileceği, geliştirilebileceği ve ölçüle bileceği ile ilgili öneriler sunulmuştur
