Abstract

Purpose: It is aimed to evaluate the time management and life quality of the caregivers of the individuals with autism and to determine the relationship between them. Materials and Method: For the study to be carried out at least 60 caregivers of the individuals with autism will be evaluated. The age range of the individuals with autism is 3 to 17. In the study, the caregivers will be given preliminary information form, WHO Quality of Life Brief Form in Turkish and Time Management Inventory. Also “Sense Profile” will be applied in order to evaluate the relationship between the level of sensational influence of the children with autism and the life quality and time management of the caregivers. Results: It is estimated that the individuals with autism could make their time managements, their life quality will be decent and that there is a relationship between the life quality and time management. conclusion: With this study, how individuals with autism affect their caregivers will be observed. Therefore, it will be possible to understand this group in various aspects. It may be considered as a data base for the studies regarding caregivers. At the same time this study will contribute to the field of study of the occupational therapy regarding caregivers

Otizmli Bireylerin Bakım Verenlerinin zaman Yönetimlerinin ve Yaşam Kalitelerinin İncelenmesi

Amaç: Otizmli bireylerin bakım verenlerinin zaman yönetimleri ve yaşam kalitelerini incelemek, arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Gereç ve yöntem: Bireyler: Yapılacak olan çalışma için en az 60 otizmli bireyin bakım vereni değerlendirilecektir. Otizm bireylerin yaş aralığı 3 ile 17 arasındadır. Yöntem: yapılacak olan çalışmada bakım verenlere; önbilgi formu, Dünya Sağlık Örgütü Yaşam Kalitesi Kısa Formu Türkçe Versiyonu (WHOQOL-BREF-TR), zaman Yönetimi Envanteri (zYE) uygulanmaktadır. Ayrıca otizmli çocukların duyusal etkilenim düzeyi ile bakım verenlerin yaşam kaliteleri ve zaman yönetimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek için ‘Duyu Profili’ uygulanmaktadır. Sonuçlar: Otizmli bireylerin zaman yönetimlerini yapabildikleri, otizmli bireylerin yaşam kalitesinin iyi çıkacağı, yaşam kalitesiyle zaman yönetimi arasında bir ilişki olduğu beklenmektedir. Tartışma: Yapılacak çalışma ile otizmli bireylerin bakım verenlerinin nasıl etkilendiği görülecektir. Böylece bu grubu çeşitli yönlerden daha çok anlayabilmemizi sağlayacaktır. Bakım verenlerle ilgili çalışmalara veri tabanı oluşturacak niteliktedir. Aynı zamanda ergoterapinin bakım verenlerle ilgili çalışma alanına katkıda bulunacaktır
