Peer review
The peer review processes our books go through before publication. Each book's page names the process it went through.
Sample process: proposal review and double-anonymised external peer review
A sample process prepared for this demo; it does not describe the university's current review process.
A book proposal is first assessed by the editorial board for scope and suitability. The full text of an accepted proposal goes, without the authors' names, to at least two experts in the field from outside the press; the reviewers' identities are not disclosed to the authors either.
The editorial board discusses the reviews and the authors' revisions and takes the decision to publish. Every step is recorded in JournTech.
