Abstract

Purpose: In this study, it is aimed to determine the physicalexposures among the pre-hospital 112 Emergency Health Service (ESH) staffduring treatment and care to patient. Materialand Method: 112 EHS employees’basic operations (activities) are determined during the experience of the taskbefore hospital. The use of Cornell questionnaire for musculoskeletal disordersand REBA method for risk level are preferred. Cornell questionnaire is appliedto 39 volunteer doctor, paramedic, ATT and driver participants in 13 ESHstations in Eskişehir in March – May 2019. REBA form is filled during theoperation. Results: After the questionnaires are obtained, the effect of thesedifficulties on musculoskeletal disorders of the employees is determined therisk levels of the tasks performed by the ambulance staff during the operationsby means of the SPSS package program. As a result of the analysis, it isobserved that the waist (%84), neck (%61) and back (%56) body regions are themost exposures. According to the results of REBA scores, while one in sevenoperations has middle risk level, four operations and two operations have highand high risk levels. Conclusion:Inorder to improve working conditions of ambulance personnel, it is required togive training for transporting process from event place to ambulance ofpatient, doing ergonomics improvements, accomplishing healthy lifting, carryingand lowering operations.

Ambulans Çalışanlarının Kas İskelet Sistemi Rahatsızlıklarının Değerlendirilmesi

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, hastane öncesi 112 Acil Sağlık Hizmetleri (ASH)çalışanlarının hastaya tedavi ve bakım uygulama esnasında maruz kaldıklarıfiziksel zorlanmaların tesbit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: 112 ASH çalışanların hastane öncesinde görevin ifası esnasındayaptıkları işlemler (faaliyetler) tespit edilmiştir. Kas iskelet sistemirahatsızlıkları için Cornell anketi, risk düzeyi için REBA yöntemi kullanımı uygungörülmüştür. Cornell anketin, Eskişehir’de ASH'nin 13 adet 112 istasyonundagörev yapan 39 gönüllü doktor, paramedik, ATT ve sürücü katılımcılara, Mart-Mayıs 2019 aylarında uygulanmıştır. REBA formu, personel işlem esnasında gözlemlenerek doldurulmuştur. Sonuçlar: Anketlerin elde edildikten sonra, SPSS paket programıaracılığıyla, ambulans çalışanlarının faaliyetlerini yürütüm esnasındayaptıkları görevlerin risk düzeylerinin tespiti ile bu zorlanmalarınçalışanların kas iskelet sistemindeki rahatsızlıklara etkisi belirlenmiştir. Anket çalışması sonucundaçalışanların %84’ü bel, %61’i boyun, %56’sı sırt bölgesinde zorlanma yaşamaktadır.
