Abstract

Purpose: Violence, a course of action used frequently in our society, means using repression to the person and society physically, psychologically, socially and economically. The aim of our study is to create awareness about violence which is tried to be normalized. Materials and Method: In the study, males and females older than 18 years of age will be included. We are going to interview people about violence to evaluate their thought about violence. After the interview, we are going to prepare a dark room with an audio and video system, use some videos on the walls with a projection, hang some violent pictures. People are going to watch the videos that include the voices of people who were exposed to violence, hue, cry, scream, beating sound for 20 minutes. Results: At the end of the evaluation, awareness and sensitivity on violence that is tried to be normalized is going to be evaluated. conclusion: With this project, we aim to increase the awareness of people on violence. It is expected that this project is going to enlighten other projects

“Normal Şiddet Kavramı Yoktur” Projesi

Amaç: Toplumumuzda sıkça başvurulan bir hareket tarzı olan şiddeti tanımlamak gerekirse kişi ve topluma fiziksel, psikolojik, sosyal, ekonomik yönden baskı uygulanmasıdır. Çalışmamızın amacı normalleştirilmeye çalışılan şiddet üzerinde farkındalık oluşturmaktır. Gereç ve yöntem: Bu çalışma Hacettepe Üniversitesi Ergoterapi Bölümü Şiddete Maruz Kalanlarda Rehabilitasyon dersi kapsamında yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya her iki cinsiyetten ve 18 yaş üstü yetişkin bireyler dâhil edilecektir. Seçilen kişilerin şiddete bakış açılarını değerlendirebilmek için şiddet üzerine röportaj yapılacaktır. Kişiler röportajları yapıldıktan sonra ses ve görüntü sistemi kurduğumuz, projeksiyon aracılığıyla duvara yansıtılan şiddet içerikli videoları kullanacağımız, duvarlarına şiddet içerikli fotoğraflar asacağımız karanlık bir oda düzenlenecektir. Şiddete maruz kalan kişilerin seslerinin, bağrışmalarının, çığlıklarının, dayak seslerinin olduğu videolar 20 dk boyunca seçilen kişilere izletilecektir. Süre dolduktan sonra odadan çıkan kişilerle ikinci bir röportaj daha yapılacaktır. İkinci röportajın içeriği kişiler odaya girdikten sonra ne hissettiklerine dair olacaktır. Kişilerin odaya girmeden ve girdikten sonraki röportajları karşılaştırılacaktır. Bu çalışmanın “normalleştirilmeye çalışılan şiddet” üzerinde farkındalık oluşturup oluşturmadığı değerlendirilmeye alınacaktır. Sonuçlar: Yapılacak olan değerlendirme sonucunda normalleştirilmeye çalışılan şiddet üzerinde kişilerde farkındalık, bilinç oluşumu değerlendirilecektir. Tartışma: Bu proje ile kişilerin şiddete olan farkındalıklarını attırmak hedeflenmektedir. Projenin bu alanda yapılacak diğer çalışmalara ışık tutması beklenmektedir
